analytics
barleyy.com uses vercel web analytics and speed insights for aggregate visits and performance. when configured, google analytics 4 records traffic sources, page views, and interactions such as starting a song, playback milestones, or opening a streaming link, and uses first-party cookies to distinguish browsers and sessions. we do not send names, email addresses, or lyric text in our custom analytics events. your browser can block or delete analytics cookies.
meta ad measurement
when configured, the Meta pixel automatically measures song-page visits reached from our Meta ads and deliberate Spotify link clicks. you can disable this measurement below; previously saved opt-outs remain in effect. a click is not a Spotify stream or save. Meta receives browser and device information, your page address and referrer, and network information such as your IP address; it may use advertising cookies to connect the visit to an ad. our custom click event contains only the song identifier, Spotify as the service, and song as the page type. we do not provide names, emails, phone numbers, lyrics, or destination URLs as custom event data. automatic matching and automatic events are disabled for this setup. choosing disable stops future Meta measurement and clears its accessible first-party cookies.
if you join the dispatch, your address is sent to buttondown and held there only to send news about the next vision. buttondown sends a confirmation email before the subscription becomes active. the address is not sold or added to unrelated lists. email hello@barleyy.com to be removed.
streaming platforms
opening a spotify, apple music, youtube, or other platform link connects you to that service. their privacy policy applies there.
